Viaje a la Alta Edad Media
Este recurso es el primero de los proyectos que conforman el ciclo de proyectos Viaje a la Edad Media. En él se plantean una serie de actividades que permiten abordar de manera interdisciplinar el currículo de Lengua e Historia. No obstante, es posible también seleccionar las tareas relacionadas solo con una de las dos materias . El proceso de aprendizaje se centra en:
- Conocer el fin del Imperio Romano y la Alta Edad Media.
- Comprender y producir textos: narrativos, descriptivos, instructivos y expositivos.
Toronto
Students will travel to Toronto to learn a lot of facts of Canada and its main cities. Each section is going to take place in a famous part of the city of Toronto. There is a proposal of tasks, challenges and activities. At the end of the project, they will have:
- read official web pages.
- watched promotional videos of Canada.
- posted tweets.
- recorded a video.
- recorded a podcast.
- made a digital poster.
- learnt the second conditional.
- learnt how to use “had better” and other modals to express advice, suggestions and recommendations.
- Pronunciation of /a:/ – /Λ/
- Know some interesting aspects about Canadian football
- Vocabulary: what to do to organize a trip to a foreign country
Los Angeles
Students will travel to Los Angeles to learn a lot of facts about America and its main cities and compose a mental map about one topic of the American way of life. Each section is going to take place in a different part of the city of Los Angeles. In each place, there is a proposal of tasks, challenges and activities. At the end of the project, they will have:
- read a tourist guide.
- watched videos about the city.
- posted tweets.
- recorded a video.
- recorded a podcast.
- made a digital poster.
- learnt when to use the infinitive and the gerund and “be going to”.
- learnt about obligation with «have to / don’t have to».
- learnt pronunciation of ae/ – /a:/
- Vocabulary: aspects of American way of life
Washington
Students will travel to Washington to learn a lot of facts about America and they will have to design a short video with their predictions for the year 2050. Each section is going to take place in a different part of the city of Washington. In each place, there is a proposal of tasks, challenges and activities. At the end of the project, they will have:

- watched videos about the city.
- posted tweets.
- recorded a video.

- made a digital poster.
- learnt when to use the Future tense.
- learnt how to express probability with will, may ,might (not) and won’t
- learnt the First Conditional.

New York
Students will travel to New York to learn a lot of facts about America and its main cities and design an infographic about their lives. Each section is going to take place in a different part of the city of New York. In each place, there is a proposal of tasks, challenges and activities. At the end of the project, they will have:

- learnt the difference between Present Perfect and Past Simple.

Students will travel to Ireland to learn a lot of facts of Belfast and design and record an interview. Each section is going to take place in a different and famous part of the city of Belfast. Each section is going to take place in a different part of London. In each place, there is a proposal of tasks, challenges and activities. At the end of the project, they will have:
- read official websites of different tourist attractions and about entertainment in London.
- watched videos about the city.
- posted tweets.
- recorded a video.
- recorded a podcast.
- learnt the structure of an opinion article.
- revised the Present Simple, Adverbs of frequency and Questions words
- learnt vocabulary about entertainment, restaurants and things to do in London.
