En el applet se presenta un dibujo de una estrella dividida en diferentes partes, y dentro de cada parte hay un producto de la tabla de multiplicar. En la columna de la derecha hay una serie de números que acompañan a un color. El applet consiste en pintar la estrella clicando en el color correspondiente a cada número y seleccionando los productos de las partes de la estrella que dan ese resultado, hasta completar el pintado de la estrella.

En este itinerario de aprendizaje, se lleva a cabo una aproximación inicial a algunos conceptos básicos del Sistema Solar: el Sol, las estrellas, la Tierra y la Luna. Consta de una parte expositiva y de una serie de vídeos y actividades interactivas: de lectura comprensiva, verdadero o falso, juegos, tareas de investigación (individual y colectiva) y actividades colaborativas para realizar manualidades. También incluye rúbricas de evaluación.
