Students are going to think of ways of making a positive impact on the world around them as well as mastering their English skills through engaging, interactive activities. Through service learning, students will develop the competences that define their output profile when they finish their compulsory secondary school years.

At the end of the project, they will have:

• read web pages about music festivals
• watched promotional videos.
• learnt vocabulary about music and emotions.
• revised future tenses, modals and questions.

Esta actividad ayudará al alumnado a tomar conciencia de la diversidad de ideas a la vez que se trabaja la lengua extranjera. Además, sienta las bases para el desarrollo de una sensibilidad artística. Se utilizará la versión gratuita de la herramienta Quiver para fomentar la creatividad y mejorar las habilidades en inglés de los estudiantes a través de la creación de mensajes creativos.

• listened to podcasts about educational issues.
• learnt vocabulary about education.
• learnt how to report information.

• listened and recorded an interview
• given advice
• revised present and past tenses.
• used intonation in questions.

En esta actividad se introducirá al alumnado en el diseño gráfico a través de la infografía. Se pretende que la usen y la distribuyan por el colegio o por el barrio, y contribuir así a que se divulguen los hábitos de vida saludables, convirtiéndose en “héroes saludables”.

El profesor comenzará preguntando qué saben de este escritor y después entregará unas imágenes que les darán nuevas pistas sobre su biografía.

La aventura comienza con un vídeo en el que se nos plantea que cuatro misteriosos personajes estaban relacionados con un cuadro de Kandinsky. Estos personajes eran los responsables de la mayor exposición de Kandinsky en Londres. Sin embargo, uno de los cuadros desapareció unos días antes. Los alumnos se convertirán en los detectives encargados de resolver el misterio.
